SEN Teaching Assistant job in Plymouth secondary school

Are you passionate about helping and supporting children? Do you have a degree or experience working with children in an educational or outdoor education capacity?

Teaching Personnel in Plymouth are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil who has challenging behaviour and requires support in a secondary school in Plymouth.

The successful candidate:

  • Will have recent experience working with children/young adults
  • Will have supported children with special educational needs
  • Will have a degree and/or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Will be able to start ASAP until the end of the academic year

Information about the role:

  • Start ASAP until the end of the academic year
  • 1:1 support for a pupil with challenging behaviour at a secondary school in Plymouth
  • Temporary role on a full time basis, during term time only
  • Supporting the pupil with their studies within KS3

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £44, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.
