Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for the next step on your career?

Teaching Personnel are looking for a passionate teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a student with challenging behaviour in a mainstream school in Plymouth.

The successful candidate:

  • Will be a positive and engaging individual with excellent behaviour management
  • Will have recent experience working with children or young adults
  • May have a Health and Social care experience and wants to work with young adults
  • Will have a full clean UK driving license with own transport - candidates who do not drive need to have access to public transport on a daily basis

Information about the role:

  • 1:1 teaching assistant job in Plymouth with a student who has challenging behaviour
  • Supporting the child in lessons on a full time, term time basis
  • Full time from February 2019 - on going until further notice
  • At a mainstream secondary school in Plymouth

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £44, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.
