Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a number of Learning Support Assistants for schools in Croydon and Bromley. Successful candidates will be supporting students with special needs in mainstream Primary Schools.

Teaching Personnel is an award winning education recruitment company with many opportunities for SEN Teaching Assistants / SEN TAs to work on a day-to-day basis or also for long term positions.

Ideal Candidate

Ideally you will have experience of supporting children with special educational needs or will have passion to work within Education. We are looking for someone who is proactive and can take initiative,enabling you to build relationships with students and gain knowledge of a wide variety of needs.

You will either be supporting students with SEN in mainstream schools, which will support you as long as you are proactive and willing to learn. Some students will have physical disabilities and will use a wheelchair, others may be non-verbal, so being able to use Makaton or PECs is desirable. Personal Care may be required.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
