SEN Teaching Assistants – Cranleigh & Surrounding Areas

Location: Cranleigh, Surrey and nearby villages
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Term-time only
Salary: £89–£100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and caring SEN Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and supportive teams in schools across Cranleigh and the surrounding area.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs (including autism, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and social/emotional needs)

  • Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists to deliver personalised learning and interventions

  • Support children both academically and emotionally, helping to create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment

  • Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

‍ About You:

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about supporting children with additional needs

  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable to changing needs

  • A great communicator and team player

  • Ideally experienced in SEN support (though training can be provided)

  • Qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent), or with relevant classroom experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
