Are you looking to work with Special Educational Needs children? Then we want to hear from you! Here at Teaching Personnel we are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a new Special Educational Needs school in Exeter. The schools cater for children who can not access mainstream education, either because of learning difficulties or challenging behaviour. The job it's self require a teaching assistant to support individual pupils and small groups. This is a rewarding position, yet challenging. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of children with special educational needs (SEN) either professionally or in the home environment. Although experience in working with children who have SEN is desired, it is not essential as Teaching Personnel offer related training courses.

To be considered for this role you must energetic with a good sense of humour to keep the pupils engaged and interested in learning. You will have the ability to utilise a range of effective approaches to manage difficult behaviour, and hold a full driving licence.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
