A primary school in the Gorton area of Manchester (M18) are looking for Behaviour Support Assistant to support children across the school. The role will be to work specifically with children who have Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). The successful applicant will work with children across KS1 and KS2 who have identified needs to deliver specific intervention sessions to manage behaviour challenges. The primary school aims to provide a ‘warm and nurturing environment’ for all children whilst providing the guidance and support to enable children to ‘build confidence, self-esteem, independence, tolerance and respect for others’. This Behaviour Support Assistant position will start as soon as possible and will run for the full academic year.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a primary school environment and will have experience supporting children with specific needs. Previous experience working with EBD would be beneficial.
