SEN Teaching Assistant (Doncaster)

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a school in the DN11 postcode of Doncaster.

The school is currently in search of a Behavioural Support Assistant to support an upper keys two pupil on a part time basis.

The role will include general teaching assistant duties whilst providing a helping hand to the student with the intention of the role becoming full time as the child familiarises themselves back into a classroom based setting.

The school is a small but welcoming environment with a very heads on SLT team who will be available to give support and guidance where ever needed.

The ideal Behavioural Support Assistant would:

  • Have past experience working with students on a one-to-one basis
  • Have excellent overall behaviour management capabilities
  • Be comfortable working to the KS2 national curriculum
  • Have a track record of been able to build strong relationships with both staff and students
  • Team Teach training is desirable but not essential
  • Have accesses to own mode of transport or good transport links
