SEN Teaching Assistant - Consett

Job description

One of our Client Schools are looking for a TA to work closely with 1 of their SEN pupils. The pupil has Autism and requires one to one support to assist them through their Maths and English. The role is working 5 mornings per week, currently till the summer but does have the opportunity to be extended for the right person.

The school is larger than average size and is in a deprived area of Consett, however are making good progress with pupils and have an excellent and welcoming team of staff in place.

  • TA Role part time, Monday - Friday
  • Supporting a pupil in a Yr 1-2 class with SEN
  • Work in a good school, with a friendly team of staff

In order to apply for this role you must:

  • Hold a TA qualification
  • Experience working with Primary aged pupils
  • Some SEN experience
  • Be available immediately

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
