About the Role -

You will be working across the whole school assisting a selection of classes whenever needed. Day-to-day, you will be supporting the teacher in the planning of lessons and developing the confidence and academic skills of SEN pupils.

The school wants to meet candidates who are able to reach any pupil on whatever academic or social level they are at as this will make each child feel safe and secure in the school environment.

Person Specification -

To be a successful SEN Complex Needs Teaching Assistant you must be confident in your own ability to meet the demands that students with moderate and severe learning difficulties will present. A SEN Complex Needs Teaching Assistant who has previous experience working in a school with similar pupils with similar needs would be an advantage, but it should not put off those candidates who feel they can step up to the challenges that this role presents.
