Teaching Personnel are seeking graduates who are interested in pursuing a career in SEN Education. Successful candidates will be required to provide specialist support for pupils in an outstanding multi-academy trust in Bradford. This is a highly rewarding role, giving aspiring teachers vital experience and the chance to gain an understanding of working with children aged 3-19 years with additional needs.

Based in Bradford, the multi-academy trust hosts 7 specialist schools in the district, catering for pupils with a wide range of additional needs including Autism, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, Severe Learning Disabilities, Moderate Learning Disabilities and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.

As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will have a desire to work with young people and aim to make a real difference to a child's life. You will support young people to access a differentiated curriculum and provide assistance both in and out of the classroom. Previous experience of working with young people (or adults) within an education, health or care setting is essential. We are also seeking individuals who possess training in Moving and Handling, Team Teach, Rebound Therapy, Makaton and/or BSL (although training can be provided in these areas).

We are looking for hard working and committed individuals who would be confident and happy working with pupils of all ability levels, including supporting with Personal Care where necessary.
