Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (Behaviour Support)

Pay: £57-£70 per day

A welcoming and friendly, two form entry school based in Poole is seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant to support KS2 pupils for the rest of the academic year.

The position will involve supporting pupils who can display challenging behaviour and the main aim will be to provide support with this throughout the school day.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting three pupils continuously throughout the week
  • Assisting the class teacher with delivering lesson content
  • Conducting pupil interventions and 1:1 sessions outside of the classroom setting
  • Recording pupil progress
  • Embracing the school ethos
  • Liaising with parents and the necessary external parties involved with each pupil
