  • Competitive Rates of Pay (£11,998 - £15,298)

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a 'GOOD' school based in Altrincham, WA14. The school is looking for a dedicated, experienced SEN teaching assistant to join their KS2 up until the end of the Christmas holiday.
The successful candidate will have recent experience of working with an autistic child who has behaviour issues so the ideal candidate will have experience and training of behaviour management as well as having a lot of patience.

This 'GOOD' school has been praised with their 1-1 support delivered by the specialist SEN teaching assistants & the progression this has made for the students. The Head Teacher is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant who will strive for progression with their pupil they are working with. The successful Teaching Assistant will be helping the young student with their understanding of English.

To be considered for the position you must:

  • Have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
  • Have a proactive approach to assisting teaching with an ability to respond to challenging and difficult behaviour
  • Team teach training desirable

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
