SEN Teachers Needed - Hertfordshire

Are you qualified Teacher seeking a rewarding teaching role with young pupils with Special Educational Needs? Do you have experience of working with children on the Autistic Spectrum, Learning Difficulties, Challenging Behaviour, and/or complex medical needs?

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit SEN Teachers for a number of primary & secondary SEN schools based in Hertfordshire. These schools cater for pupils with a range of complex needs, such as ASC and SEMH and are seeking an experienced Teacher to teach across various key stages. It is essential that you have previous experience in a similar role and you must possess excellent behaviour management skills.

Teachers applying to register with Teaching Personnel would ideally have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Proven experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
• A passion for the learning and development of children with Special Educational Needs
• Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies; Team Teach qualification is desirable but not essential

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Plan, prepare and deliver teaching and learning to a range of mixed learning abilities, enabling pupils to achieve their full potential
• Be a positive role model for the pupils
• Be approachable and professional at all times

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
