Teaching Personnel are currently looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher for our partner school, a secondary specialist school in the Lewes Area. The position will be working predominately with children 11-16 year old pupils who have verity of Special Education Needs. Ideally you will have a flexible nature and be prepared to cover across all years where needed. Your role will be supporting with behaviour management and to engage and interact with the children to enable them to be able to access to curriculum fully.

An ideal Teacher will have:

- School based SEN experience

- Makaton experience or BSL (to any level)

- Moving and handling / Team- Teach qualification (desired)

- An empathetic and caring personality

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
