SEN Teacher Vacancy

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit fully established SEN teachers to work with a KS3 class at a client school in the Cardiff area, engaging the pupils and keeping them on task to meet their learning aims and objectives. Experience of teaching within an SEN environment is essential. Candidates will be asked to work between 8:30-3:30, planning and marking may be included. Team teach trained is desirable as the client school does have pupils with challenging behaviour. Along with flexible hours and competitive pay ranging between £85-£100 we offer additional benefits including pension.

The staff at the school are both friendly and supporting, the pupils that attend the client school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have gained qualified teaching status
  • Are registered with the education workforce council
  • Can confidently plan a daily routine for support staff within the classroom
  • Are either Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's) or experienced classroom practitioners
  • Team teach trained desirable

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
