Job description

We are recruiting a SEN Teacher in Godalming!

This highly accredited secondary school is looking for a motivated Teacher to work closely with special educational needs children between the ages 7-19, this school has multiple services available such as Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational therapy and Sensory Integration to help support these children with a range of academic abilities and complex needs.

We are looking for a Teacher that will be able to create a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment. You will be there to help these children achieve to their full potential whilst working alongside closely within a team and in a class no bigger than 4-5 pupils all with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and majority of them being on the Autistic spectrum (ASC).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
