Teaching Personnel's Specialist SEN Branch are recruiting on behalf of a Comprehensive school based in Exeter. The school has an excellent reputation within the local authority and high expectations of both its staff and pupils. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience working with a child with significant behavioural difficulties.
The successful candidate must have:
- Good academic knowledge and experience of the Secondary curriculum is beneficial.
- Good model for clear speech.
- Ability to provide visual support in a range of formats.
- Willingness to work 1:1 with the pupil, making clear and relevant links to class work.
- Experience of working in partnership with teachers and a range of specialists, taking guidance to provide the best support possible for the pupil.
- Individuals must be able to use their initiative, be flexible and make changes at short notice.
- Candidates will be required to hold an enhanced DBS disclosure and be subject to safeguarding vetting.
Our client school are looking for committed and experienced teachers that are looking to progress within a school environment. Naturally you will be engaging and have a want to work with children and watch them reach their full learning potential. Our client school has excellent support structure in place along with fantastic resources to aid with the children's learning. You will be provided with regular support and training to ensure that you are developing further skills as a valued member of staff.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
