Job description

We are currently recruiting for an SEN teaching assistant position within the Northamptonshire area. The ideal candidate will have experience working within an SEN environment, specifically someone who has worked with children who have social, behavioural and emotional concerns. Due to the nature of the role we are looking for a patient, caring, individual who has a passion for helping students reach their full potential. The role is specifically dealing with children aged 4-11 who have low confidence and need to overcome barriers and be nurtured into becoming functioning citizens and learners.

At Teaching Personnel we have been working closely with SEN schools to provide opportunities for work on a part time and permanent basis. Successful candidates would ideally have recent experience as well as a genuine passion for working with SEN pupils. All applicants will need to hold a current enhanced DBS and be fully compliant to work in the UK

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
