SEN Teacher required in Chorley

Job description

Teaching Personnel work with a Chorley based SEN School which caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism and Learning Difficulties. The School is smaller than average and currently provides education and support for pupils who often display challenging behaviours and struggle to remain in mainstream education.

The School is based on the outskirts of Chorley and pupils in School may display challenging behaviours. The School are looking for a Teacher to deliver a range of lessons including Maths, English, ICT and Functional skills. The School are looking for a candidate who is innovative, hard working, empathetic and passionate about enriching the lives of children with SEN.

The role will be full time from September and candidates must be available to work Monday - Friday from 8.30am - 3.30pm. The role will be for the first full term with a view to becoming permanent.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £ 90 - £ 130 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
