SEN Teacher required in Accrington

Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with an Accrington based School which caters for KS1 - 4 pupils with special educational needs. The School is smaller than average and caters for pupils with complex needs including; PMLD, Autism, ODD, Physical Disabilities, Global Delay and SEMH Difficulties.

The School is based on the outskirts of Accrington and has ample on site parking, although, the role would suit a candidate who drives as you may be expected to travel with pupils and you may also struggle to get to school on public transport.

The role will be full time and candidates must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with SEN and be willing to provide personal care when required. The role will be full time from September and candidates will be expected to work one voluntary day in School so they can ascertain your suitability for the role.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £ 90 - 130 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
