Job description

A Head Teacher at a Preston based SEN School has approached Teaching Personnel to recruit an experienced and hard working Teacher to deliver a range of subjects across KS1-4 in an SEN provision. The School is based on the outskirts of Preston, near Lostock Hall and the pupils in School have a range of additional needs including; Autism, ADHD, SEMH Difficulties, ODD, Conduct Disorder, PMLD and Physical Disabilities. The School is smaller than average and class sizes are generally under 10 pupils.

The School is smaller than average and in class there will always be at least one Teaching Assistant to help with behaviour management and class control. The School are hoping to appoint a successful, passionate and enthusiastic Teacher to deliver a range of lessons across KS1-4, therefore, subject specialism is not important for this role.

The role is to start on June 3rd and it is likely to continue until August 2020. The role will be full time and candidates interested in this role must be willing to work with pupils who are often disengaged in education and pupils who display challenging behaviours.
