SEN Teacher needed for February start

Job description

Teaching Personnel is currently working with a specialist SEN college based in Coventry, that is looking for a teacher to work with a small group of young people on the Autistic spectrum. The college is post 16 so experience within a post-16 setting is desirable. They are looking for a teacher with experience working with learners with Autism, which is essential. The college are not looking for a specific subject, it is more knowledge of Autism that they are looking for.

The role is part-time (3 days a week), or full-time for the right person. It is to start as soon as possible, and is likely to run up until the end of the year. You would be working with a small group of 5 learners, with complex needs.

  • Experience working with Autism is essential
  • Autism qualification is desirable but no essential
  • Experience with post-16 is desirable
  • Monday - Wednesday
  • Flexible working hours
  • No subject specifics
  • Duration of role - until at least February half term, possibly longer
