Job description

Purpose built SEN schools in Milton Keynes that cater for primary & secondary aged students with a range of complex needs such as MLD/SLD and Autism are looking for additional teaching staff. I am looking to meet with fully qualified teachers that have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.

As a SEN teacher, you should have a good knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment techniques, having a Team Teach qualification would also be desirable but not essential. You should also be able to adapt session plans to suit all children's needs.

The successful candidate will have…

  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
  • Teaching experience either in a mainstream or SEN school
  • Knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience using PECS & Makaton (preferable but not essential)
