SEN Teacher

This vacancy has now expired.

Job description

I am currently looking to recruit a fully qualified SEN Teacher to teach an class of reception and Year 1 children for a primary school based in Lambeth. This position is to start in September 2018.

Experience of working with children with special needs including autism, severe learning difficulties and speech and language barrier difficulties.

The classroom would consist of 6 children max with a Teacher and a TA present. Everyday is challenging in the school but can also be very rewarding when the children adapt and trust the teacher who is helping them achieve their goals and learning modules.

The School

This forward-looking primary school, located within the borough of Lambeth is set on large grounds at the heart of the community. To travel to this school by public transport is made easy with its close proximity to the National Rail and underground stations. This school enjoys an envious relationship with the local community. It works to offer a positive environment for learning and is heavily oversubscribed. After a recent, successful Ofsted inspection where the school was deemed 'Good', the Head teacher and SLT are now keen to continue the good work and become an 'Outstanding' institution.
