Are you a teacher?
We have an opportunity to place a Teacher in an OFSTED ‘Outstanding’ rated school for pupils aged 9 - 18 years with moderate and/or complex learning difficulties.
This school has excellent facilities to support the development of the pupils as seen by their Visual Arts, Technology and Sport Specialist status. This is supplemented with access to a full time speech and language therapist, specialist trained teaching assistants, the support of the Disability Team, access to hydrotherapy when needed, two learning mentors, trained therapists for OT, physiotherapy and mental health. The school’s reputation is well regarded in the local community and the motives of the school are further recognized with its recent OFSTED rating being outstanding in all areas inspected.
Your role as a teacher in the school would be to promote a positive learning environment where character building and play centred task make up the majority of the curriculum. You would be supporting a class that is based on needs rather than age due to the requirements of the school as a whole
As well as being the main teacher in the room, you would be supported by two or more Teaching Assistants in the class and have an incredibly friendly and dedicated SLT on your journey with the school.
The school is situated in Trafford, with public transport links nearby.
In addition, you will need to complete all necessary vetting checks including proof of identity, a DBS on the Update Service and producing two recent references.
Working through Teaching Personnel allows for many benefits including
• A team of consultants to look for roles for you and support you in the ones you find
• A competitive wage of GBP100 per day with options to rise
• Access to a wide variety of CPD opportunities
• Flexibility on your working conditions
If you believe you are the perfect Teacher and can make support and inspire these young people, please send your CV or contact Neal at Teaching Personnel today.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training.
