We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher for OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding’ school, which has also been judged ‘Outstanding’ at its previous two inspections and has ultimately been regarded a national centre of excellence in the teaching of SEN and caters for ages 2-19 with support available for those:
- Autism spectrum conditions
- Deafblindness/multi-sensory impairment
- Hearing impairment with additional needs
- Profound and multiple learning disabilities
- Auditory processing disorder
- Visual impairment including cortical visual impairment with additional needs
- Additional medical needs including progressive and degenerative conditions
The ideal SEN Teacher for this role would a calm and caring individual, who has experience working within a SEN environment and is committed and dedicated to making a real impact of the lives of vulnerable young people.
Your role as a SEN Teacher would be to create lesson to meet the learners needs. This would include a curriculum based around academic and social progression. You would create lessons aimed to allow the young people to express themselves in a practical and easy way, as well as design tasks to help the young people succeed in their lives beyond the school with a key focus on independent living skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
