SEN Teacher

Teaching Personnel are looking for motivated Teachers who are highly experienced in working with/Teaching pupils with SEN- whether thats teaching in a mainstream school or SEN school! 

We are therefore seeking  qualified teachers (QTS) who will be eager to make a substantial, high quality and sustained contribution to the learning and teaching at an SEN School

The School caters to children and young people aged 3-19, with severe and complex learning difficulties, with most of the students having an additional diagnosis of autism (ASC) and/or physical and sensory difficulties.

What will be expected of you?

• To plan, prepare and deliver lessons to a high standard of performance
• To organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive and safe learning environment
• To lead and work with a class team, and as a member of other teams
• To prepare materials to support class/group activities at the appropriate levels
• To work with colleagues to devise and implement individual programmes to raise individual achievement
• To work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure that programmes are appropriate to individual needs and support the learner
• To manage subject/curriculum resources within the classroom and within defined subject areas
• To undertake all appropriate assessment and record-keeping
• To undertake training appropriate to the functions of the post, and to liaise with Subject and Aspect Leads to identify subject training appropriate to the needs of teaching and support staff
• You must be available to work from the begining of April

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
