SEN Teacher Need in Hackney (N7)

Hackney
Salary: Paid to Scale MPS1 TO UPS 3 including London Fridge.
Start Date: February/March 2024

(salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

This ‘Outstanding’ school based in Hackney is looking to appoint a SEN Teacher to join immediately, on a full-time permanent basis. Working in this SEN school as part of an established team, you will be supporting pupils across the ages between 4–19-year-olds with highly specialised provisions for learners with autism.

This school is committed to high quality education that inspires children to be as independent and enterprising as possible with a child- centred approach to teaching and learning. The SEN Teacher would be leading and teaching a class of 7 pupils and will be supported in the class with 3 Teaching Assistants in the classroom to help consolidate the learning.

Requirements

The desired SEN Teacher will have:

  • Experience of working with SEN pupils in a teaching environment.
  • A passion for the progress of Sen school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team and flexible approach to support this schools requirements.
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
