Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a SEN Teacher to start in September at a fantastic SEN school based in Lowestoft. This school specialises in complex needs and the pupils are aged from 3-16. The school are looking for a motivated teacher who has experience working with KS2 pupils - the applicant must have an excellent knowledge of SEN and past experience working with SEN.
This is an SEN Teacher role for someone with significant experience teaching young people with Complex or Profound Needs (PMLD). The role could turn permanent for the right person. Pay up to GBP145/day.
You will be required to plan and deliver lessons, monitor progress, write reports and differentiate your work to the individual needs of each pupil. You will need to work closely with your TA's and school management as well as outside agencies. Due to the levels of the pupils you will need lots of strategies & lessons in your tool box to promote engagement and progress on a sensory, communication, social, behavioural and academic basis. Ideally you will have QTS however candidates will be considered with alternative teaching qualifications and experience of teaching P-scales and the EYFS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
