Primary Teacher - SEN School - Gravesend Area

A Specialist SEN school in the Gravesend area are currently recruiting for a SEN Primary Teacher to work with children who have a variety of special educational needs including SEMH. This role is for a September start and it will continue on a full time basis for the full academic year with a strong view to become permanent.
The role
The role will be teaching a class of up to 4 - 8 students, across key stage 1. The role has been created due to further needs within the school, so they are now looking for a lovely qualified SEN Teacher or Primary Teacher.
The ideal candidate
Must have:
• SEN experience
• Primary School background
• Qualified Teacher - QTS or QTLS
• Genuine passion for Special educational needs
The school
This is a Specialist SEN School in the Gravesend area which is dedicated to children with SEMH. With rich varieties of learning opportunities this is the perfect chance to further a career working with Primary School children with SEN needs, as well as joining a dynamic and friendly teaching team. Classes are small and the school is very supportive of their staff. They offer a good induction programme for teachers and they heavily invest into their staff.
The School is led by a strong Head Teacher who provides exceptional on-going support throughout the school. The school will consider teachers with experience as well as strong NQT's.
You will have proven organisational and communication skills with a strong understanding of pupils with special educational needs. Flexibility and clear thinking will be necessary in order to be able to work closely with staff and parents to help ensure that each child is given the opportunity to fulfill the potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
