SEN Teacher – Primary Schools (Sheffield & Barnsley)

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs?
We’re currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teachers to work across primary schools in Sheffield and Barnsley.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and SLD).
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and support staff to create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individual Education Plans) and track pupil progress effectively.
- Maintain a positive, patient, and encouraging attitude to support every child’s learning journey.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with pupils with special educational needs in a primary setting.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A proactive and caring approach to teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
