Contract: Agency, Full-Time

Are you an experienced and resilient teacher looking for a rewarding challenge? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join one of our SEN Specialist schools in the Bury area. This role involves working with children who present with Autism, learning disabilities, Physical disabilities, struggles with their social development and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum and individual EHCPs.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Build strong rapport with pupils to support their academic and personal development.
  • Collaborate with staff team, parents and multi agencies to ensure the welfare and safety of pupils
  • Differentiate learning materials to ensure accessibility for all learners

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Previous experience working in specialist sites and working with children or vulnerable adults with SEN needs
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and a commitment to making a positive impact.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
