SEN Teacher - immediate start

Job description

A Special School situated in Rochdale are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and experienced Teacher for a January 2020 start.

The successful candidates will be planning and delivering lessons to pupils with Moderate and Profound learning difficulties. As an SEN Teacher you will be working with pupils in Key Stage 2 and due to the nature of the needs of pupils you will teach in accordance with the National Curriculum and P scales. Ideally the Teacher will have prior experience of working with young people with SEN.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (essential)
  • A clear passion for working with pupils with SEN demonstrated through professional or personal experience
  • A knowledge of how to effectively safeguard children and young people

The Setting itself is a new build special school which is located close to the centre of Rochdale town centre. The School is self is co-located with a mainstream primary school and the School are looking to met potential Teaching Assistants as soon as possible.
