SEN Teaching Assistant required for a part-time role in the London Bridge area required!

Pay in range of £60-75 depending on experience.

One of our schools which has been rated 'Good' in their latest Ofsted report is recruiting for an SEN TA in the London Bridge area. This role is short-term and the school are looking for a candidate who can work full-time in assisting SEN pupils throughout all years of the school. There is potential that the role could become a permanent position for the candidate. The location of the school is in an easily accessible location a short 5-10 minute walk from the London Bridge rail station and there are direct transport links into central London and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is confident and experienced in dealing with challenging pupils who are SEN. A lot of the SEN pupils will need the 1:1 support from you and the difficulties can range from pupils suffering with autism to ADHD. Some of the key skills we would be looking for are patience, interpersonal skills and desire to help. One of the most important aspects of this role is someone who can be adaptable and identify what the pupil needs at that specific time.

We can also offer a dedicated consultant to support you throughout the whole process who has a genuine interest in delivering excellence to you and your career.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
