Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with SEN?

If so, Teaching Personnel are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in one of our client Schools in Nelson who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work with pupils within their support department who have special educational needs. The School caters for pupils with Asperger's, Autism, ADHD, SEMH difficulties and physical disabilities.

The School is based in Nelson, Lancashire and the pupils in this School can display challenging behaviours. The role will be full time and the candidate must be available to start within the next 4 weeks. The role will require the candidate to be hard working, enthusiastic and willing to commit to supporting the school ethos/development.

The candidate must have experience supporting pupils with special needs or experience working in a mainstream secondary support department. Ideally the school would like a candidate with Autism experience. Candidates with their Team Teach qualification will also be favoured. The candidate must have a strong work ethic and be looking for a long term position within a School.

The successful candidate will benefit from a long term position with the potential of transitioning to a permanent contract with the school. Candidates can be offered competitive pay rates ranging from £300-400/week.
