Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a 'GOOD' school based in Oldham, OL9. The school is looking for a dedicated, experienced SEN teaching assistant to join their school in the behavioural unit after the Easter holidays. The successful candidate will have recent experience of working with children with complex behavioural issues so the ideal candidate will have experience and training of behaviour management as well as having a lot of patience when working with challenging children. This 'GOOD' school has been praised for its strong values and expectations that are upheld. The Head Teacher is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant who will strive for progression with their challenging pupils. To be considered for the position you must:

  • Have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs & Behavioural Needs
  • Have a proactive approach to assisting the teacher with an ability to respond to challenging and difficult behaviour
  • Team teach training desirable

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
