Job description

SEN Experienced Teaching Assistants Required

In need of Autism, Nurture and Behaviour Experienced Teaching Assistants

Level 2 and above qualification required

A track record of working with children across the Primary Curriculum

Since the turn of the year, Teaching Personnel have seen an increase in schools requiring SEN experienced teaching assistants to work with small groups and individual children who are in need of additional support. These needs vary from children with Autism, ADHD and Social Emotional & Mental Health issues. The type of support these children require varies from 1:1 to 1:2 and small grouped work. The roles we receive are cropping up every week and so we are in demand of staff who have experience and who are qualified at either Level 2 or above/degree level. Don't worry if you are from a care support background, or you have only had experience in residential care then you still have transferable skills which can be utilised effectively in Primary mainstream settings.

Further to the information above; there are children in Lancashire area who require support on a full and part time basis. Some of these children have SEN statements and Education Care plans and as a result of this, funding is available to support the child for an amount of time. We also support children who are from Traveller backgrounds and Looked After Children as well- These roles can be massively rewarding and look fantastic on your CV.

Please contact me if you would like to find out more information on what how we are supporting children with SEN across the Sefton area and how you can impact on this.
