Supply SEN Teaching Assistants for Hammersmith and Fulham Primary Schools

Competitive Pay: £55-80 per day (Dependant on Experience)

Flexible working hours as preferred (2-5 Days per Week)

Teaching Personnel are looking for a number of SEN Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools within the Hammersmith and Fulham area. If you're looking to work flexible days and have the relevant qualifications or experience, this is a perfect opportunity for you to start working with Teaching Personnel. We are looking for candidates who can support teachers throughout EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2) and can work 2-5 days per week. Joining teaching Personnel has the following benefits:

To be a successful Teaching Assistant you will need to:

  • Show an interest in helping the children in their care develop.
  • Have a DBS on the update service or ready to apply for one the near future.
  • Working 1:1 with a child or in a small group with SEN children who have, ADHD, ADD, Global Delay, Autism etc...
  • Able to assist with delivering engaging, effective and stimulating lessons.
  • Have some previous experience of working or mentoring children between 4-11.

Extra consideration will be made for candidates with:

  • Looking to develop a career within teaching which we can assist with along the way
  • Able to offer extra curricular activity for example sport/music/mentoring etc…

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
