Are you considering a new challenge in a fulfilling role working with SEN students? Would you like to be a part of a fantastic team? Special Needs schools across Hampshire are looking for Support Workers to work with their Primary and Secondary aged pupils.
The successful candidate must:
- Ideally have previous experience working within SEN, whether with children or adults
- Be confident and flexible to deal with a variety of situations
- Have the confidence to deal with challenging behaviour
- Be comfortable working in both a group setting and on a 1:1 basis
The Role:
Schools are looking for a Support Worker who has previous experience working with children or adults with Special Needs, who can work to inspire and achieve! The ideal candidate will have worked in a school with students that have a range of difficulties, or in a health care environment with Special Needs individuals. You would be supporting the development of the students you work with to optimise learning and maximise potential.
The School:
The schools that we work with cater for Primary and Secondary aged pupils with a range of Special Needs to include Autism, PMLD, SLD, physical difficulties and Speech and Language difficulties.
They are looking for staff that are positive, determined and will hit the ground running and use their initiative in various situations, as well as build positive relationships with both the pupils and staff.
