SEN Support Worker, Chorley, Lancashire

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to support KS1-4 pupils with special educational needs. The School is smaller than average and caters specifically for pupils with additional needs. The role will be full time and School hours are 8.40am - 3.15pm Monday - Friday, you must be able to fulfil these hours in order to be considered for this role.

The candidate suited to this role will have experience working with adults or children who have a range of needs including; physical Disabilities, Autism, Learning Difficulties, ADHD and SEMH Difficulties. The candidate suited to this role will be happy to provide personal care when necessary and be willing to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils who may display challenging behaviours.

The role will be full time and will start as soon as possible. The role will require you to work alongside the Teacher and manage challenging behaviours.

The successful candidate will benefit from the following:

- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 67 per day

- Long term position available
