Job description

Here at Teaching Personnel we are looking to recruit teaching assistants with SEN experience in either schools or the support working environment. The role will be at a client school based in Ebbw Vale. The role will involve supporting within a KS2 class of pupils that may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome or epilepsy. There are also pupils that may be non verbal at the school but not necessarily in your class. You will be expected to work between 8:30-3:30. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and show great behaviour management skills, patience and resilience will also be advantageous for the role. We do prefer manual handling trained candidates however, training can be provided. We offer a competitive rate of pay ranging from £54.00-£60.00 a day, along with other additional benefits.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
