SEN support Teaching Assistant - Bury

A large primary school in the Bury (BL9) area is currently looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work across the different Key Stages, from the EYFS through the Key Stage 2.Due to the schools higher than average numbers of pupils with special educational needs and EHCP's, the school is looking for a teaching assistant with previous SEN experience to work on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to raise attainment.

A successful candidate should:

  • Have a Level 2 qualification or above
  • Have a patient and nurturing personality
  • Be a good communicator and work well as part of a team
  • Have previous experience working with children with special educational needs

This is a warm and friendly Bury (BL9) primary school and has previously been graded 'GOOD' by Ofsted. The school has a number of excellent specialist resources and intervention rooms for the successful candidate to utilise to support the pupils. The school also has an excellent senior leadership team to support all staff and will provide CPD courses for personal professional development.
