Job description

Are you looking for a role as a Support Worker in the Andover and surrounding area? Do you have a qualification in Health and Social Care and are interested in making a difference?

Teaching Personnel are working with a Special Needs school who cater for Primary and Secondary pupils, with physical difficulties. The main purpose of this role is to assist students by supporting them in their classroom, to include after school activities, as well as in their residential homes.


- Flexibility to work different shifts which include weekends and nights.

- Must be comfortable carrying out personal care, and have previous experience doing so.

- Relevant qualification or previous experience working in healthcare, and with Special Needs individuals.

- Be prepared to undergo additional training as required.

- The pupils are encouraged to work independently, so patience is essential.

In order to ensure that each pupil thrives, the school needs the right staff to aid their pupil's development and dedicate themselves to the task at hand. Those with a background working as a Support Worker and in the care industry have the potential to transition well and thrive within this school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
