Are you Team-Teach trained? Are you looking for a role working in mainstream school with SEN children? Do you have a calm yet resilient nature?

An Essex School situated in Basildon is looking for a Team-Teach trained Teaching Assistant / LSA to work with challenging students with a variety of different needs. From ADHD to Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH), pupils can be difficult to support at times so you have to a patient and calm nature. The children you will be working with can be disruptive and aggressive so an ability to provide a positive classroom environment is needed. The school requires an immediate start with the opportunity for a permanent position; the post will be Monday to Friday. To be a successful Team-Teach TA you will need to be:

  • A strong team player
  • Team Teach Trained
  • Quick thinking and able to adapt
  • Experienced with Behaviour Management
  • A Minimum of 5 GCSE's at A-C including English and Math
