SEN Support Assistant Required in Farnworth

Level 2 ASC and Global Delay Teaching Assistant required

Grade 5 - £11,352 - £13,331 per annum. £9.50 - £11.15 per hour.

30 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year.

Are you experienced supporting across KS2? Do you hold a minimum of a Level 2? Are you experienced supporting pupils with ASC, Global Delay and Challenging Behavioural needs?

If so a larger than average primary school located in the Farnworth area of Bolton, previously graded as 'Good' by Ofsted, is currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic, engaging, outgoing Teaching Assistant to work as part of their KS2 team. The role would be to support pupils on a 1:1 basis with ASC and Global Delay needs and is required as soon as possible.

The school aims to ensure that pupils are able to grow in an environment where they are safe, to share learning with others, to learn through opportunities and to laugh in a community that makes the most of everyday. The role would be to start after February Half term and would continue for the rest of the academic year with the view to go on contract for the right person.

In order for you to be successful for this role you will need to:

• Be nurturing
• Be adaptable and flexible
• Have a good understanding of the early years curriculum
• Have a strong knowledge of phonics
• Be experienced working with challenging behavioural needs
• Have strong levels of English and Maths
• Hold a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
