Job description

Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants required in Doncaster Teaching Personnel currently works with a number of schools in the Doncaster area we require TA's with SEN experience for a number of different roles. If you have experience working with Children with Special Educational Needs, whether it be within a school setting or within a care setting we are keen to hear from you. You will be working with children with a range of SEN needs including ADHD, Autism, Asperger's and SLD. your main responsibilities will include the assistance of children's development both academically and socially

The right SEN support assistant would:

  • Have a calming and understanding nature
  • Be patient understanding the needs of the students
  • Have experience working with students of a primary school age with complex needs
  • Additional qualifications such as; Knowledge of BSL, Makaton, Team Teach, SPELL/TEACCH would be desirable
  • Access to your own mode of transport or good public transport links

In turn, Teaching Personnel can offer you;

  • Daily rate of pay up to £70, depending on your previous experience
