SEN Speciliast Teaching Assistant required!

Job description

Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience working with pupils with SEN?

If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a School which provides support for pupils with SEN. The pupils are KS3/4 and the School caters for pupils who have educational health care plans. You will be expected to work with pupils who have Autism, ADHD, PMLD, Physical Disabilities and pupils who display associated challenging behaviours.

The role will be full time and you will be expected to start on a temporary supply contract through Teaching Personnel, although, this is likely to become a permanent role with the School before the end of the academic year. The role will require you to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with a range of pupils and you may be expected to work in the FE department too with pupils who have PMLD.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with SEN and be willing to provide personal care when required. The candidate must be willing to complete at least one voluntary day in School and assist the Teacher with after School club.
