SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant Vacancy

Job description

Teaching personnel are looking for motivated teaching assistants with experience supporting pupils with learning difficulties and or challenging behaviour to work in our client school based in Newport. You will be asked to support within a classroom environment, keeping the pupils engaged and meeting their learning aims. The times required to work will be 8:30-3:30 Monday to Friday. There is a competitive pay of £50.44-£60 along with additional benefits.

The staff at the school are both friendly and supportive, the pupils that attend the client school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
