Job description

You will work with children and young people from 5-11 years of age on the autistic spectrum. You will help enhance their communication and social skills.

The schools offers extensive taring and support at their dedicated training centre which has been recognised for it's excellence.

The role is at a specialist provision primary school in Haringey that meets the needs of children and young people aged 4 to 19 years with autism spectrum conditions and related social communication difficulties.

Learners are offered a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum and follow a personalised approach. This helps children and young people to make the best possible progress academically, whilst continuing to develop their social understanding, communication and relationship skills for the future.

The school wants all learners to achieve the best possible outcomes whatever the extent of their autism or learning difficulties.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
