Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced Primary Teacher to work in one of our SEN Primary schools in Plymouth. The role will be teaching Year 2/3 children with special educational needs such as ASC, MLD and speech and language communication needs on a full-time basis. You will take on all responsibilities of a permanent teacher including planning, assessing and writing IEPs/EHCPs. The successful candidate:

  • Must have recent experience working in a Primary school setting
  • Will have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs
  • Be a patient and proactive Primary Teacher
  • Must have QTS
  • Will be looking to take on the full teaching role

About the role:

  • Full time from January 2019
  • Initially until Easter half term with the possibility to be extended
  • Planning, preparation and teaching KS1 pupils
  • NQTs are able to apply

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £44, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.
